Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco – Cusipata – Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain – Cusco
The tour begins early in the morning with hotel pickup in Cusco (available for hotels located in the historic center) between 4:20 and 4:50 a.m. After pickup, we travel by tourist bus toward the district of Cusipata.
Around 6:30 a.m., we arrive in the community of Chirihuani, where breakfast is served and there is time to rest. We then continue driving to Phulawasipata, the starting point of the hike.
The hike begins at approximately 8:45 a.m. and leads toward Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain. Along the trail, you will enjoy high-altitude landscapes, local wildlife, and impressive views of the Ausangate region. Upon arrival at Rainbow Mountain, there is time for exploration, photography, and a guided explanation of the area.
After the visit, we descend back to Phulawasipata and return by vehicle to Cusipata, where lunch is provided. In the afternoon, we begin the return trip to Cusco, arriving between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m., with drop-off in the city center.
